ERIC Training Services

GIS and data management training services

The use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in the ecological sector is becoming increasingly popular, especially now that  QGIS – a free to use GIS platform – is widely available. ERIC NE has the skills and experience to be able to offer a suite of GIS and data management training services to help you use this in your professional capacity.

Our team work extensively with GIS and data management software which means we use real world examples to ensure you get the most from our training. You’ll leave feeling confident and able to create your own GIS projects.

Great North Museum: Hancock

We offer an intensive one day course which will give you the basics to get you started using QGIS and bust the jargon around GIS – we’ll also show you some great hints and tricks along the way.
